june 9th . 2007 . old mission santa ines and the crossroads estate at firestone vineyard . solvang, ca STILL playing catch up from our big trip up and down the coast last month :) by now, i'm sure you all know kiko and susan...most recently of the people magazine fame...and the awesome engagement session and even more awesome actual proposal! well after all that shooting, it was finally time for the big day! kiko and susan tied the knot in the very beautiful old chapel of the santa ines mission while 250 of their closest family and friends looked on. it's quite hard to put into words just how rediculoulsy cool kiko and susan are....they truly are the type of people you can't help but want to be around all the time! luckily for us because between all of that shooting we have spent a LOT of time with them :) first up...the choos!

i love this shot of kiko...it just goes to prove that even in a kinda freaky little danish village like solvang there is always a cool parking garage to work with :)

after the ceremony it was like a time bomb of happiness was released...even the flower girls were gitty!

after a few family pictures at the church we took kiko and susan to a cool spot at the winerey we had scoped out the day before...we were so excited to find some urban funky looking winerey stuff in the middle of all the pretty central coast vineyards :)

then we took some time over at the actual vineyards for a bit more pretty stuff...

the grounds at the firestone estate are absolutely stunning and the big "barn" they hold events in was SO cool! check out this awesome shot of kiko and susan's first dance with all their friends and bridal party looking on...

there were lots of really fantastic toasts and lots of awesome reactions from the whole crowd :)

their band was A W E S O M E and kept the crowd jamming on the dance floor all night long...check out one of the performers busting out his best michael jackson!
