when you get flown half way around the world to australia to shoot a wedding for another photographer, in a country with a bazillion awesome photographers...the stakes are high. so high in fact that lee and cam's wedding was one of the first weddings in a long time that we actually had butterflies the morning of...although jaclyn's butterflies might have just been from her overwhelming fear that there were hunstman spiders waiting everywhere ready to attack her in the face :) luckily for us, this wedding was like the white unicorn of weddings!!! lee and cam were absolutely afreekingmazing!!! they were both so down to earth and madly in love which makes our job easy peasy :) their wedding took place in the middle of the middle of the middle of nowhere...seriously on the way out there we thought the whole thing might have been a cruel joke on us! we drove on the main highway a few hours outside of sydney, then turned off on a little two lane country road for another hour and a half...then onto a windy dirt road for another 45 minutes before fiiiiiiiiinally arriving at the beautiful riverwood downs. this place was like church camp/bed and breakfast/campground nestled out in some of the most beautiful country we've ever seen. my small brain can't even begin to put into words the awesomeness of lee and cam and the extramazingawesomeness that was their wedding day...so for now, we'll let the images do the talking :)

everything at lee and cam's wedding was handmade by their friends and family...here's cam's mom doing some finishing touchups on one of the bridesmaid's dresses.

lee was darn near the most animated bride we've ever seen...it. was. awesome.

lee and cam had one of the most touching, emotional ceremonies we've ever been a part of...not a dry eye in the house!

the grand exit was full of win...and bubbles...and confetti...and awesome :)

lee and cam heard this musical trio at the farmer's market they go to every week and invited them out to the wedding to play for the ceremony and the picnic lunch...WIN!

all the guests sipped on champagne while walking from the riverbanks where the wedding ceremony was over to the picnic area for the reception.

lee's two sisters, like the rest of the guests, were all smiles :)

lee is one of the sweetest people we've ever met! we landed in sydney on jaclyn's birthday so lee had everyone sing happy birthday to her during their thank you speech :)

the day was suuuuuuuuper relaxed and laid back. being photographers and realizing the importance of plenty of time for portraits, lee and cam gave us 2 1/2 hours for portrait fun running around the campground and the australian wilderness :) FTMFW!!!

when in australia, do as the australian photographers do ;)

we had to jump a fence, tramp through a field littered with cow patties, and hike up a huge hill to get this shot...but it was SO SO SO worth it!!! lee and cam were total troopers!

this is one of my favorite photos i've ever taken in the universe.

note to couples: trampolines at weddings should be mandatory. period.

we usually don't post too many detail shots but we loved everything about this wedding. nearly everyone there was involved in some way. they made the decorations, the flowers, and even the food (and it was DELICIOUS!!!!)
