july 6th . 2007 . el cortez some of you may remember courtney and aaron from their awesome engagement session from back around Christmas time. we've been looking frowad to their wedding for months! their wedding was at the el cortez in downtown san diego with the uber cool kelly from mint weddings coordinating and our favorite rock star florist annette gomez helping make the day look amazing. courtney was all smiles getting ready :)

we love it when couples decide to see each other before the ceremony for pictures! we always allow time for a "first sight" which is such a cool time to get these real emotions when they see each other for the first time!

then it was off to run around town for some portraits!

i picked up a set of fine art textures from my homeboy jesh de rox...these things are awesome! here is an image i played around with a bit :)

aaron is a total stud and one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet. he had a great tough guy look so i tricked him into standing in front of this fun sign...thanks for playing along aaron! ;)

we always love the tension and excitement right before the ceremony...here's aaron's parents waiting to head down the aisle.

kelly made a great suggestion to have all the guests sit in a circle around the altar, it was so gorgeous!

after the ceremony it was like a love bomb went off in the hallway with all the family and closest friends!

usually we don't post anything from the family pictures but every once in a while a little gem like this will catch our eye :)

after all the formal fun was over the bridesmaids changed into more comfortable attire :)
