grace is learning to ride her bike with no training wheels....yesterday was her second time out and she is straight killin it!!!

before we left for portland, we picked up 1 of the 700 limited edition polaroid 600 instant cameras from urban outfitters...and went a little polaCRAZY :) i haven't shot polaroids in years, and i've got to admit, shooting this fully automatic crappy instant camera was the most fun i've had doing photography in ages!

day two in portland for family vacation was a looooooooooong one!!! we set out from portland on a 1.5 hour drive to the tillamook cheese factory in tillamook where we enjoyed the best grilled cheese sandwiches in the universe and a fine sampling of their 38 flavors of ice cream :) :) :) from tillamook we headed up the coast for an hour to cannon beach for an afternoon fun on sandy dirtiness on the beach, sandy beach cruisery things, tidepools, and a beautiful sunset. i think on the 8th day when God invented fun, this is what He had in mind :) first up...another little fight with grace and jasper over colored pencils :)

we bought grace some shiny gold tights from american apparel...THEY ARE OFFICIALLY THE COOLEST BOTTOMS IN THE UNIVERSE!!!

we're out of town this week maxin and relaxin with the kiddos and our dear friends the parsons in the lovely city of portland! we've always wanted to stay in portland so we're SO SO SO stoked to finally be here...and to top it off, check out the modern paradise we're staying in!!! we'll be posting more adventures from the week, but for now, check out a couple snaps from the kiddos playing at mount taber park after we landed in portland :)
