But I must tell you, I agree with Aviva (except I don't want to eat your kids, just squeeze them a little) but PUH-LEEZE give us some notice about when shootshops are coming up - say, with about 2 months to plan? I'm in a similar need-to-plan more in advance boat. Shootshop I'm coming someday soon! (5.12.08 @ 5:31pm)

i lived in san diego for 9 years, and the military has brought my family to okinawa, japan. i love photography and have gotten the amazing opportunity to pursue it here in this beautiful place. with the utmost respect and on my knees pleading with clasped hands and puppy dog eyes, i ask for special treatment. there's no other reason besides my pledge of undying love for you to indulge me.
a trip back to san diego to visit friends & attend your shootshop would be dreamy, however i need more notice than 3 weeks. when you do this again (i say "when" because i cannot and will not fathom you NOT doing it again!) i want to plan to be there. i have a place to stay, and can afford to get to San Diego via 15 or so hours of plane travel, and with a few days to get over 16-hour jet lag in order to function well enough to attend your workshop and get the most out of it, my selfish self really really is hoping to come!
love your work, love you, want to eat your kids for dinner, and hope you'll understand my plight and take pity on me! please realize i'm HUGELY bummed i didn't get into photography full time until i was out of the san diego area. enough rambling, i'm done. you do so completely rock my world. they're not a company, but outstanding people come to them everyday.
people who want to be better, do work that really counts. people who want to see new places , photograph the unusual. people who become your friends for life.
people like you.
they're not a company. they're the image if found. shootshop,
it's a great place to start.
